don't own any of these, but good to see someone is creating replacements.

Nice!
What is your warranty on the items (yes; my machine is working 100%)?

It's hard to tell from your pictures; how are the alignment issues resolved with the dmd blocks?

BosPinCo... Can you tell us what your warranty is on the display?

The issue of aligned blocks is a concern of mine... I immediately replaced the DMD in my STLE with a colordmd/sigma... because I couldn't handle the missaligned blocks.

Got mine yesterday. Looks great, no problems with alignment. Great product!

I picked up a TMNT with no display. Bought one of these beautiful displays on ebay. Didn't realize that I needed an eprom (though it says so right in the ad, doh!)... Boston Pinball was able to supply me the missing eprom. I plugged everything up this evening and have no signs of life from the display. I have 5v and 12v coming to the display. I guess my next suspect is the ribbon cable??? Any advice on troubleshooting???? Thanks!

Did you pull a couple of the jumpers to set brightness? They come out easy by hand. I think it is the last step in the instructions. My didn't work with all the jumpers in either.

Quoted from Staythirsty:

:blink:blink: Sounds... odd..
I think I'm going to wait for a real review before I take the plunge.

This looks like a single piece monolithic wafer. Is it? Looks very nice. Also is the Pinside discount indefinite?

This occurred to me.... good suggestion (that I have not tried!)... will give this a go tonight and post results.

Thanks,

Crash, the display is made up of led modules, but i think they line up perfectly. The display is well crafted.

To close out this thread with a solution to the dead display problem, I pulled out the logic probe and checked the 6821 PIA.  PA0 (pin 2) was dead. Replaced the PIA and she fired right up!

The Boston Pinball customer service has been exceptional, though the product and eprom were never suspect. Thanks.
