Morning. So.. I just installed my Nest-E thermostat last night and holy crap am I impressed. I'll tell you why. I had a Honeywell Lyric'Round installed for past year or so. And holy crap was it garbage to keep hooked up, troubleshoot and use. Just hooking it up, not physically, but to the honeywell home system took basically a week and 5 calls into help centre. I am a technician for a living and this product was frustrating. Now the NEST took me from start of physical hookup to being able to fully use it took about 10 mins total. Very impressed. I use IFFFT and had it verbally changing temps on the Google Home in about another 15 mins. Works sweet.

Now to the other Nest products, how many of you have good results from the Nest Smoke and CO detection system? I am thinking of buying 2 of them, one for basement and one for upstairs hallway. The "wired" versions as I have 120v at those spots. I'm seeing early good reviews on amazon.
