    You sure the tube is good? If I missed it apologies but the neon tube might have leaked the gas out of it.

    Anyone that has neon signs or neon in their machines a good cheap tool to have is a neon tester ....

    Simply touch the antenna to the neon tube, press the button and if the tube lights up then the tube is good.
