Im pretty sure you just need to make sure the hz is the same and that it will supply a minimum of the old supply’s 9000 volts. My buddy just replaced his old 9k transformer with a 10k off amazon
Quoted from meSz:Newcastle did a few of these "comical" signs. I had one that said "This will look great in somebody's basement".
This one? Unfortunately its an led sign, I like it in the basement tho.

I'm doubtful but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Looks like there are a few neon shops near Montville after a google search. Its a small one tube single color, prolly wouldnt be crazy to have one of them fix it.
Quoted from gdonovan:Well that answer that question.
Unfortunately I don't know anyone whom makes signs or repairs in the area.
This place is an hour from Montville

There are a few other neon shops a bit further out as well. Just google neon repair in your area.
Does anyone know much about LED signs? I have a Newcastle sign that was turned on and off rapidly and now does not power on. Worked fine for years until the rapid on off on off it got.
Btw, It has an external brick power supply
Quoted from Spitfiren8:Does anyone know much about LED signs? Gigured this would be the best place to ask. I have a Newcastle sign that was turned on and off rapidly and now does not power on. Worked fine for years until the rapid on off on off it got.
Btw, It has an external brick power supply
Quoted from Coyote:Get a new power supply with the same ratings (or higher amperage) first and foremost.
So this power supply is just toast? Anyone repair one? Maybe ill crack it open and have a poke around.
