Picked up this yesterday. I'm not into cars but I couldn't resist because of the size. I tore it apart and gave it a good cleaning. It was pretty dingy and grimy from hanging in a warehouse for about 40 years.
No idea on the age but the sign itself is painted porcelain.

Any idea what the value is? I do have a good friend into cars and thought he might like this. No idea what it's worth though.
Here's a classic Grain Belt that had been hanging in the same location for the last 30 years, at least. Lots of corrosion on the metal. Here's a before and after.
It looks WAY better and brighter than shown.
