Quoted from presqueisle:I've always been a cord hider, in finished spaces. I use those peel and stick channels, paint them up and good to go.
I agree. Now that I have the neons I don't see moving anytime soon, I will be doing exactly that.

Quoted from jalkelly:LOVE that Shiner one!
I got very lucky on that Shiner one. It was buried 7 pics deep in a CL ad that was just titled "neons". When I got there, it didn't work. I got it and a Coors Light Super Bowl 43 neon that did work. It took me a while negotiating it down on price. All it needed was a new transformer. Pretty much mint!
Here's a close up of it. Main color is blue. Such a hard color to photograph. The combination looks 3D in person. Also including bonus pics of the Shiner one I have next to it. (More wires needing cleaned up!)
Oh damn! I like the one on the left even more(from Houston originally). Looks great man. Thanks for sharing!
Quoted from gac:Here are some of mine... nothing special but I like them.
I've always liked those Bud Light neons like you have. Reminds me of the logo style during their Wayne Gretzky Bubble Boys promotion days.
Here is my first neon ... bad color in the pic though as the frame of the pin is blue, the "PINBALL" letters and translite image are bright yellow, and some of the playfield lights are green, red, and blue. I got the bigger 24x20 version, but that is the black light framework size. Still a good size for me. The back leg looks a little bent, but is screwed to the frame that way. It looks like they missed one little bend on the leg, but it'll be fine.
Quoted from Pinballlew:Had this made. Hard to capture on camera the true colors the red and yellow is much deeper.
Wow I love that!
Do you think they could make another I'd love one

You have to get me one of those hot wheels painted first lol. I am seeing how this neon order goes:

And if it goes well, I am looking at putting a order together for these next if there is interest.

Wow, very cool. I'm a big fan of Curtis's work too.
Quoted from Whysnow:shared in another thread but figured I would share in the club thread also.
My first Neon and also first custom neon
That looks great! Who did that for you? I want to get a price on a custom one in that style too!

I can look for an email and pass it along.
Quoted from Pinballlew:Dig the old school Pepsi
Thanks. I stopped by victory glass the other day and it had been in the owners personal collection. I didnt see any pictures of this one when I searched. I like the look. It's sitting on top of my Pepsi machine and below my Pepsi Pam clock.
Quoted from dirkdiggler:Picked this up last week. Not sure whether to keep it or go work a deal out with the sub guy down the block for free sandwiches?
Tough call...well if you do you will still see the sign lots down the street and hey free food is always nice!
Quoted from TomT:Added this one recently not a neon but definitely pinball related ...
Love it! Where are they selling just the PBR backglass?
It's super tough to make genuine glass neons. Impossible for me really. I was able to get one glass tube to hold a green charge for a day. My hat goes off to these Craftsman

It's a work of art for sure and getting to be a lost one with more and more china crap coming to the states. Keep it in the USA and old school all the way.

I've got a Heineken sign where I need to "warm/rub" the green letters or they definitely aren't as bright. Never looked to see where manufactured but it is old (90s prob)
The sub sign ^^ is newer, super bright and Canadian made.

Try taking the sign down and moving it so that the ball inside the tube rolls thru the tube. I believe this disperses the gas inside and refreshes areas like that.
Got my lanshire clock movement back from Norkro. Michael did a great job rebuilding the movement. I had some stripped gears. It's working great in the Budweiser clock again my FIL will love this.
If anyone has a neon clock and needs a rebuild I recommend him!
