I also have this as well as the ROLLING ROCK plasma bottle. The Smirnoff one is the nicest. There’s also a MGD one that’s like the Smirnoff.

I got hit with the Neon bug a few years after collecting pinball and I'm really liking my collection right now but I do have a couple china neons and would like to get some nicer ones down the line. I used to have the cords hanging down to the outlets but when I renovated my basement I put outlets up top so I could hide the wires. Also got a Back to The Arcade on the way downstairs to the game room.

I received my neon today. It’s quarantined till tomorrow, so I haven’t opened it. Anyone else receive theirs for the Godzilla project?

Actually I think it's glued on. I was trying to twist it off and it broke off cleanly. Maybe I was lucky. If it was me I think I would score it around with a hacksaw so it would break off easier.
I picked this sign up as another NHL team and wanted to retheme it to my favorite team, the Pittsburgh Penguins. My neon guy changed the puck color from white to yellow and Mr_Tantrum produced the puck decal with Pens logo to complete the transformation. Best Bud Light logo ever.. And the orange and black NHL logo? Classic!

Maybe drill the hole from the back side and right before you are all the way through punch it out with a hammer so it splinters a little. Then you could shade the splintered part with black paint.

Or just light that portion on fire and put it out real quick (make sure you light it in the center where the neon will be)

That is a beautiful sign. I really hope they'd find a nicer way to attach it to the pole than the crappy wire through the eye hooks. It kinda ruins it, at least for me.
I still appreciate the work of your neon guy. That is a true artform.

I'm thinking that wire does nothing more than keeping the sign from swinging in the wind. To your point though, it does take away from the sign.
Working away on my gozilla neon project. I'm still waiting for the neon tube. It's been stuck in customs since June 8th. Would be nice to get it soon.
Next step is to make the box to mount the objects and hide the power supply. I also have a pulsating led light I'm going to place in one of the buildings.

I would wait to build the box until you see how long that neon tube is.

Thanks. Yea that's a good suggestion. I might need to lenghthen the box if the tube is longer than what I'm projecting. It just sucks being in limbo waiting for a neon tube thats been stuck in customs for 10 + days.

No...I got them from Wal-Mart. Just search "n 1/144th ruined damaged building" and it should show up on the Wal-Mart website.
