I have a broken Corona beer bottle neon sign and wanted to get it fixed. Anybody doing repairs or know of anyone who repairs them ? I thought I had a guy who was going to fix it, near where I lived. He said "about 2 weeks"...Several phone calls to him netted no new timetable.
3 months and 2 weeks later, he still hadn't gotten around to it. I took it back and if I can't find a repair person, then I'll probably scrap it.

My neon guy told me that glass tube diameter isn't available in the states. Or, maybe that's just what he says because it's so fragile to work with.
Either way, the cost to repair usually outweighs the expense of a new one, unless it's just a bad transformer.
I don't believe it to be a chinese-made neon. The tubing is broken on it; it worked fine, until "the accident". The guy who said he would repair it, was going to charge me $80, which I thought was reasonable.
