    Hey folks,

A great place to play pinball is opening this Friday in the LA area.

I'm partnering with Neon Retro Arcade to bring great pinball action to Old Town Pasadena. Initially, 3 pins from my collection will be onsite (LOTR, RFM, & MB). We will also have WCS, Earthshaker, & Pinbot.

Would love to see some SoCal Pinsiders come out to Old Town and help us celebrate the grand opening!

Please introduce yourself if you come out to play...would love to meet you and see what you think.

    Here's a link with more info: https://www.facebook.com/neonretroarcade.

    Have fun!

Nice! More location pinball in SoCal is always a good thing. I still need to make it out to your place, been kinda nuts here on a personal level lately, but very cool to get some pins out in public.

So if they charge by the hour...how do they know if you've been there for an hour? Do you wear a tracking bracelet or something?

For now, it's low tech. IIRC, it's a label/tag with a timestamp. Neon employees will manually enforce the timeout. Given the size of the space, this should be manageable.

Would be nice to have a card that would track the time and record what games were played. Profiling what games are actually being played would be useful to optimize the space. I know some folks are concerned about game hogs...in theory you could imagine a card protecting against playing too many games within a certain timeframe.

Foot traffic in this part of Old Town is great...expecting a big turnout this weekend.

The Neon Retro Arcade's sign is a print to look like unlit neon tubing???
