Need a few things, I am sure I will come up with more in a little while..

Possibly a list of as many of the hex standoffs and their sizes and where they go as possible. Really badly need to know the size and part number for the hex post that supports the crossover wireform. Looks to be about 4"??? Mine is replaced with some other idiotic post and a SHORTER hex post screwed into it.

Stole a picture from Micro's listing for his STTNG since it pictures what I need the info of...... Is that thing just a 4" hex post with thread on one end and a threaded hole on the other, or is it a shorter hex screwed into some other kind of post...I can't remember from last year and don't think I have a picture of the separate parts. >_<

I knew that pic looked familiar!

Not sure on the size, but that hex post on the connection is male, and screws into a standard post.

The standard post has the black rubber on it.

Does that help?

Maybe. The post I have on mine currently has a fairly long thread with a blank flat round section between the thread and the hex. If nobody can come forward with the specific info then I'll just order an extra straight post from Marco with some other stuff I need...if it fits it fits, if it doesn't, well....the fat post with the fat rubber can stay there. I don't mind the shots being marginally tighter.

Have you used this site?

http://www.moll.no/pinball/parts/index.php

Check STTNGs box and type in "hex"

Doesn't really answer your question I guess, but gets you closer maybe!

Frax,
I found this in the STTNG Parts List but I don't think it's the correct one - it's 3+ inches.

02-4935-3 post hex 2.20

I'll try to measure mine tomorrow as that Post commonly gets broken on STTNG & IIRC it was unobtainioum.

Cool, thanks K. If it's unobtanium, no big deal, I'm not going to bust my butt looking for it. I already removed the worst hack, a mini-post on the right outlane that didn't belong there, lol.

Frax , just checked mine its a 2 1/2" male hex post that screws into the post with the rubber.

I think it's this:

I just ordered one. I think this may be the solution to the problem I posted here:

http://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/sttng-delta-quadrant-ramp-question

I will measure when I get home, but I think the post I have now is about 4 inches long. With the proper hex post, the ramp will have greater slope, making it easier for the ball to roll down the wireform instead of back down the Delta Quadrant ramp when a shot falls just short of the Borg lock.

That's it, 02-4934.

A few pics attached.

Thanks for all the info! I think I do actually have the right post then, but the "hack" solution in place ends up being the same height overall, so I'll just order the extra sleeve post and fix it when I get another chance!
