It's not necessary with RG, but you can disconnect the kickback to increase the challenge. Or if you really want to make it brutal ( esp during mb) disconnect the magnet. You'll have plenty of short challenging games either way.

I also agree that AFM when set up hard is good too. My shallower games are getting a lot more attention lately. The longer playing games can become slogs.
