$3/ball is nuts. And the shipping--holy crap! Anybody know the secret?

I've purchased them in bulk from pinball life in the past with good results. Not the "Ooh shiny" ones he sells, just the regulars which seemed to be of good quality

PBL has been out of the premium balls for awhile but looks like they are out of stock on the regulars now too, hope they get the issues with the supplier fixed soon

    Thank you!!

PBL was out of the standard grade but a shipload is due "very soon". 250 will fit in a flat rate USPS box for 14$ shipping IIRC. Postal delivery person will not be happy however!

Contact your local bearing supply house.

    Shhh!

If they were $3.00 each...... one would think their pinball machines were worth 10 thousand new or some crazy shit.

I don't know why people fiddle fart around talking about balls that are not available. When you can get them from a quality and reliable pinball source like Marco and they cost about a dollar a piece and always seem to be in stock. Plus they will ship your order for $9.95 no matter how big.

I like their rubbers better than most too. They aren't chalky and don't fall apart when you try to install them.

http://www.pbresource.com/Balls.html $1.60 each and you can probably negotiate bulk pricing if you give them a call.

    Don't be so sure

    Damn, discontinued.

EDIT: Oh god, I just realized it wasn't 1 1/16". It let me add it to my cart and I figured it must be a mistake but was very curious on what would happen if I bought it... caught myself at the end. No purchase. LOL

Are your Standard balls chrome steel? There's no warning on the page about magnets, but I'm guessing that they are. Thanks.

I'm wondering how these would play in a WoZ. Like someone else mentioned, there's no indication about how they play with magnets. I assume they stick to magnets being chrome steel, but do they become magnetized themselves and then stick to the playfield ramps too?

Thanks for any info. The balls that came with my WoZ are already showing wear and very dull areas in a week. Heavy play is putting it lightly.

Every game is a little different. There are so many factors the only real way to tell is to try them. The super shiny are chromium and will retain some magnetism. The regular are polished carbon steel and retain very little magnetism. on some games the only real issue with magnetism in the ball loader trough. This can be remedied by using an insulating "shim" to keep the balls from sticking to the metal trough.

I'll just keep buying mine from Marco as I know what I'm getting and the price is fair.
