trying to get a backbox stepper wheel going on a jokers. on a jokerz and cyclone, the a and b circuits of the stepper are controlled by Q7 and Q15 on the cpu. when i go into the stepper test and hit the credit button, both Q7 and Q15 go low and stay low for the length of the test. i dont know if that is correct or not, could someone verify that? on a diner, the transistors are Q6 and Q14.

the opto is good, i see the H come and go if i spin the wheel by hand. i'd like to know the state of Q7 and Q15 during the wheel test when it counts up from zero.

i understand a and b pulse, and thats what steps the motor. the stepper drive board has 2 inputs from q7 and q15. my questions is do they pulse or does the pulsing originate on the stepper driver board? my q7 and q15 lock on high.
