I bought a 1963 Midway Play ball, Needs some work. Im not too technically electronic save, But I have videos of what is going on and parts which seem to not working. The machine will play, but the score keeps racking up, I got number 1 and 2 reels working. The third seems to not want to work. The Target Panel Reset motor seems to be failing. However I just noticed a broken tilt (don't know the term) seen in last picture. I purchased the machine for 40.00 bucks with a broken back glass and playing glass, I have since replaced both of these, The score just keeps going and going, No reset is working at all. I have a video if this site allows me to post videos. My biggest question is "is this worth fixing"? Im a power seller on eBay and thought I would take this on as a project. However its hogging up valuable space in my garage, 1) do I sell it as is? 2) I have 40.00 into the unit, 300 for the back glass, 50 for the playing glass and 30 in bulbs. I noticed the tilt thingy is broken and the prior owner seemed to bypassed it, but its still blowing fuses left and right. It will play only on the reset dime 10 cent relay. the quarter reset relay doesn't work. Im 400.00 into it. Can someone please give this disabled Veteran some advice? Does the Target Panel Reset motor 533 42 R.PM. go out a lot of these older machines. Marco has this motor for 99 bucks. But I still think the major malfunction of everything is the game reset or this tilt piece I cant ID. Please see last picture. Im willing to donate pay-pal funds to whoever gives me the best solution. How much would a local pinball shop charge me to fix it. I had a EMC from the Navy come look at it yesterday. However one problem at a time. I need to ID the last picture, Please help. My contact information is on my website www.inavyvet.com I lost. The machine just keeps pitching balls as I push the pitch button, the whole time the counter is dinging and going up in score, Some reset must be failing.
