I know this is complete amateur hour but I learned a lot since i started this project 3 years ago. For whatever reason I didn't take enough pictures of the back box and hardware and now I am trying to figure out A few things. My other games are not here so I cant go look at them for reference.

    1) What kind of screw & washer (if any) goes into the hinge.
    2) What does in that hole. That clip is supposed to slide up and down freely but that has to be there for something all games i have seen has it.

On the top picture I think it may have been a shipping type thing. A bunch of machines have that hole but I have never seen anything screwed in the hole. I think if you push the latch down to lock it in place the hole will line up with the slot so if a screw is in the hole it can't lift.

The bottom picture just has a screw and a washer. You add/remove washers under the tab to raise or lower the light panel and the screw and washer on top just keep it from lifting off.

nib bally williams games came with a security screw to prevent lightboard smashing to backglass during shipping.
I can't remember what kind of screw, and they got discarded after removal.
