Watch the neon club thread, as I expect Ryan Claytor to reveal it over there very soon.
We are talking about a 2300 mile round trip, and that's just not in the cards. I need to find a shipping option. I have it on uShip and requested someone that has moved them before. The sign maker has used UPS and FedEx to pack and ship before, but I don't want to use them if I don't have to go that route. I'm going to keep exploring options.
Quoted from LTG:Craters and Freighters ?
LTG : )
They don't have a location near the sign maker, unfortunately. Thanks for the lead, though.
Quoted from Wanimal:Shit. I'm in Michigan. I am off work so if you wanted to get a sprinter van rented for like $60 a day I could drive it down to you (looked at renting one to move a pin, most economical way over shipping).
I'll look at anything that gets it to me safely. But I'm not seeing options that don't start charging per mile after a set mileage allowance, that is less than half of what this would take round trip.
Quoted from DennisK:Yeah should have shipped it via freight given the size. I lucked out on the second go, the neon bender had a family member coming to the area and so just had them bring it to me.
I just bit it off and paid a dude to drive it down to me in his van. It’s here and it’s safe and I don’t have to beg Josh to make it again. Worth every penny.
