Someone with a June 20, 2011 order date - me - wonders what the heck is going on with the out-of-order shipments.

Wow, early March for a May '11 means I should see my June '11 order sometime in, perhaps, June '14.

Wouldn't it be refreshing if Jack came out and SAID up front "Hey, we're holding off on shipping games because of <x>", instead of waiting until the angry hordes bearing pitchforks have to (again) storm castle JJP?

Line conditioners have never been needed in the history of pinball - why are you suggesting them now? JJP is certainly not going to tell operators "Hey, put your brand-new WOZ on a line conditioner."

The numbers have no bearing on reality; they are just a sequence of digits that the person ordering the game picked due to some personal preference. Which makes the "n/1000" designation on the game's plaque meaningless.

Invoice #2447, order date 6/20/2011 is on its way, and if R&L behaves it will be here tomorrow - one day before the outdoor deck on which it has to travel to get to my game room is demolished!

The game was delivered on Friday. I have not removed the game from the box yet, partly because I've been very busy with a few high-priority construction projects and partly because I just can't dredge up the enthusiasm to reconfigure the game room to make a place for WOZ. Perhaps this weekend when my daughter - who was really excited to hear that the game was delivered - stops by I'll see about setting it up so she can play it.

My WOZ box shows a distinct serial number, which is different than the "game number". People could pick a "game number" when pre-orders were placed, but that "game number" had no direct bearing on the order in which the games were produced. We also have "invoice number", which I presume were serially assigned as orders were placed.

Isn't that essentially what I said (game number has no bearing on when a game was produced)?

The problem is the production area is only staffed when there are visitors ... therefore, we need more people to visit JJP so the remaining games can be completed!!
