First time I haven't either had the schematics to a game or have been unable to find them on ipdb or similar site. Does anyone have Scorpion schematics in a pdf or other readable format? I'm troubleshooting a couple different problems. Left sling doesn't fire. Right sling ONLY fires in test mode. Left flippers don't fire. Game otherwise plays and scores perfectly. Would like to see if there's any commonality in terms of a connector issue or if it's a board issue.

Didn't think of that, duhhhhhh. Good call. Interesting the special solenoids and flipper buttons come in on the same connector. May have found my problem hopefully.

So the game has a Rottendog in it. When I pulled the board to replace a lamp matrix blown transistor before tackling the other 3 issues, I noticed that 2J12 came off with no effort while the others were locked in there stiff. It so happens that 2J12 has those special solenoids and the flippers! I think you're onto something there, but I think I'm just going to rebuild that connector with a new molex one just to be sure it wasn't a loose connector issue causing all 3 problems. Always tackle the easy common denominator potential cause first.
