Planning a TOM shop job/mini restoration. The debate is to restore the playfield versus getting a Mirco replacement versus just keeping the present playfield but shine it up nice and try to hide the damaged areas some way.
Playfield has some chipped out areas around the trunk, previous owner put in a nonstandard post next to the center ramp left edge to stop balls from cracking the ramp edge so that needs filled in/fixed, and there’s some wear around some of the illusions in the bottom center.
Who’s doing quality restorations at this time? I know HSA quit at the end of 2018. I’ve seen a few pictures with Mirco playfields and I’m concerned about the colors not looking like what I’m used to, although those playfields look quite nice in the photos.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
