After hearing stories about "white glove" service, I think you're safer off moving it with the help of some friends regardless of which floor it ends up on.

After hearing stories about "white glove" service, I think you're safer off moving it with the help of some friends regardless of which floor it ends up on.
Once it's strapped to an appliance dolly, the stairs aren't bad at all. It's pretty much balanced and at rest on each stair. Just need to lift and push, one stair at a time. From my experience, going up is much easier than going downstairs.
