Folks,
I am almost done with my bally Dolly Parton restoration and are now completing all the labels. It seems there was a factory label on the head at one point but it does not look like the usual FCC warning we see on other Bally machine. Anyone having an idea or a picture of what that label looks like so I can reproduce it?

I have a Bally Eight Ball from late 70's to early 80's which I am also re-furbing. The head on my machine has the original paint and I see no indication that any label was affixed in that area. My Super Wild A## Guess would be, that you see is the remains of a local arcade company inventory or service label. I've seen them placed on aprons before and all are unique to the company that owned / placed them in places of business.
I have unboxed many brand new Bally pinball machines back in the day. I never saw any labels on the outside of the cabinet.
Could this be the remnants of an importer's license? Or possibly a local amusement machine license dictated by local or state authorities?
I'd guess that's an operator's owner/inventory label or license/tax sticker.
I very much doubt it was an original Bally sticker. Serial numbers and product info were not placed in stickers like that.
Exported games often had a Bally label in this area but more like a silver sticker with Bally logo and address etc.
