Hey all!

Just installed a color DMD in my Data East Tales from the Crypt and I am having an issue where I have no picture. I can go through the menu fine on the color display but I get nothing on attract mode. I see the color DMD says “done” but there is nothing on the DMD. Any ideas?

It worked sort of initially! It was garbled but upon Turing off and back on, I got nothing

Working with the Color DMD people currently! When I put the original DMD in, it works just fine. I only get issues when putting in the Color DMD! Strange! I can get some what of an image on the Color DMD after I downloaded the Tales from the Crypt rom file and installed it via flash drive. It is just garbled:

Randy helped me get the game working! Thank you so much! Now we get to see the gore in color! Haha

Contacted Randy and he provided a super helpful diagnostic checklist. After uncovering that my game was not at fault, he sent me a replacement color DMD controller board with a return label for the original board he sent me. I sent him back the board and installed the new board and it worked! The new board he gave me already had Tales from the Crypt downloaded to it so it was just a simple installation!
