I am restoring a Sorcerer that was delivered to me disassembled. While I am waiting on a few other parts of the project I am giving the boards a once-over. I assume they are working, but I have not tested yet.

The MPU has a jumper on the back that looks like part of a section of the board that has had some pieces replaced. It looks like it is connecting U57 Pin 4 to the resistor network SR2 (pin 2?).

Here's front and back pictures of the section and the schematic. Q43 and Q47 have been replaced. Looks like it may relate to 1J11-1 ("SOL 1").

Any idea what this is doing? Anything I can check or verify on it before I get it in the machine? Appreciate the help.

The trace between must be damaged between U57-3 and SR1-2 when the IC was put on a socket.

Dang, zaza just beat me to it!

The trace that got damaged is on the top side of the board, makes more sense to run the jumper on the bottom in this case (and it's prettier, lol)

Haha, thanks you two. I thought maybe it was just standing in for a trace, but the other replaced elements in the same general area made me think maybe there was more to it. I guess we'll find out when we finally ahve a chance to boot it up! Maybe this is my excuse to buy up some bench test equipment. Hmm...
