Looking for a table my father-in-law played in the 60s. They called it a “flag machine” and he says that he kind of moved it forward and back, not side to side (would tilt). Bumpers on side and flags on the back glass. He would get points and redeem for cash. Played very fast. Help!

Harbor Lights? It has bumpers and features flags on the backglass.

TopMoose Thanks for the idea and sorry for the delay in responding. I completely forgot I had posted here until I decided to do another google search this evening only to stumble upon my own post

In talking to my father-in-law more, it sounds like this was a flipper-less table. So something more akin to Broadway. But there was a flag theme and a definite logic around certain #s being hard to get (he seems to recall 16 being the toughest). Haven't found it yet, but it's kind of been fun researching.

Sounds like it may have been, but I’m testing his memory.

Question! Which country are you from?

The only US bingo games I could find that fit the description are 3 machines and they were made in the 50s, but I could see him playing older machines in the 60s.

The machine that closely matches your description is Bally's 1959 Fun Way. It's a bingo machine that has a couple of flags in the brackground and the playfield has a broadway vibe to it.

The other 2 are titled Broadway. Both made by Bally, but one was made in 1951 and the other is made in 1954 respectively. No flags though.

Now, if you are not located in the US, then it's going to be challenging to track it down. There were many bingo machines made in Europe and Asia that are unaccounted for.
