When the door is closed there should be a metal plate on the coin door that pushes those buttons in.

When con door is open high voltage is turned off for safety. Look at the pictures of a coin door and notice the silver metal piece on the side of the door. Do you have that piece or is your coin door missing it? If it is there you may need to adjust to ensure it presses the switches when closed.

If the machine was shipped, you may want to look around the bottom of the cabinet and see if it is laying around somewhere or that it didn't come off and get caught up in the wire harness.

Pressing in the switch completes the circuit thus turning on the high voltage. Simply removing the wires from the switch will not complete the circuit. Those wires go to some connectors and you must pull the entire switch.

Hopefully you contacted the person who sold you the machine and they are sending you the missing part but a quick solution if you are not comfortable would be to use some electrical tape to hold the button in (basically acting like the yellow service switch activator tool) so you can play while waiting for your new part.

Quoted from ChrisHibler:

He can play right now...IF he simply pulls that switch outward. I don't mean REMOVE the switch, I mean instead of pushing on the switch, pull on it
