Hey guys

I need that tapered piece of metal on the inside of the coin door on the right side (lock cam bracket) .

This is for my EBD but the part is the same on my Capt. Fantastic so I am guessing it is pretty generic to 70s and 80s Bally coin door.

Thanks

Dave

Hi Cotton

I know I am struggling to describe the item.

There is a tapered piece of metal (call it a latch) mounted to the inside surface of the cabinet just inside the right side of the coin door.... the lock cam tightens on the piece of metal when you turn the lock cylinder.

I think I know what you are talking about now. I don't know what you call it. I'll look around.

What are you trying to do? Maybe that will help.

It’s what keeps the door closed. I’m home now. Here’s a picture of the same piece in Capt Fantastic.

Do you have a picture of the lock itself? I have a collection of early Sterns. Stern and Bally used a lot of the same parts so your latch is confusing to me.

Just a standard lock set. Nothing unusual here.

I don't know what to tell you. My Sterns use the same type of locks but all we have on the cabinet is a flat striker plate. I can see where yours would offer superior adjustment. I'll keep looking around.
