Need Advise on 3D scanning an unobtainable part

    My guess is the U.N Orion from "Transporter: The Rescue".

    May be easiest to either hire somebody that's experienced with Blender or something similar to do the 3D model, or see if there's anybody local that might have a scanner. Should be plenty of places/people that can handle that. Would be a fun project to try.

    Trickier is going to be finding a printer with a big enough bed. They're out there but not common. Alternatively, the model can be done to print in multiple pieces which would make it a lot easier and more friendly to common and smaller printers.
