The Mrs picked Godzilla. Now to find a reputable distributor…

    Quoted from Moli410:

Well fellas, I need some help. I’m torn on what to purchase. And I’m torn because the next purchase is for the mrs! (yup the mrs wants a pin!).
So the mrs is in love with two pin titles, Wizard of Oz and Godzilla.
She fell in love with WOZ a long time ago and that’s always the first machine she goes to whenever she sees one on location. But lately she’s been on a Godzilla frenzy since it came out, and she keeps telling me we need to find a location that has Godzilla. Last we played was at one of the local shows and she couldn’t stop playing. Plus I think she has an emotional attachment to the Godzilla theme as it was big between her and her dad.
So what do I do? Buy a used WOZ or put a deposit on NIB Godzilla Premium?

You will get a ton of different answers here. Both games are fun but couldn't be more different. Buy the game that you and your wife enjoy the most.

Godzilla. More bang for your buck.

I just bought a Godzilla, my 35yo son is not usually interested when I get a new game, but when he finished playing he was grinning from ear to ear

why don’t you let her decide?

If the pin is for the Mrs is should be what the Mrs. likes. Pinside will say "Godzilla!" pretty decisively but if this is really for her, ask her. Don't give her a suggestion if she asks you what she should get. Tell her that whatever she writes on this sheet of paper on the fridge at the end of the week is what you'll get here whether its Playboy, WOZ, or Zilla, then give absolutely no input as to what she should get, or joke about the playboy if she insists. You have a guilt free pass for a new pinball machine that you also get brownie points for. Use it to your full advantage and good luck!

Sounds like WOZ is where she'll get the most long-term enjoyment Sounds like the type of investment to ask her what she wants

First off, quit calling her "the Mrs."

    Are you "the Mr?"

And as someone else mentioned already, let her pick.

I ultimately wanted to make this a surprise, but as of a few minutes ago I asked her if she had to pick which pin, without hesitation, she picked Godzilla!

So Godzilla for the win fellas. Now to find a distributor….

Perhaps making assumptions about how a couple likes to refer to each other isn't your business?

I call my wife "Wifey" and I'm her "Hubby". Why not "The Mrs" and "The Mr"?

    I'm sorry to hear that.

Look on Stern's website. They have a list of distributors. I would start there.
