so today i picked up a hurricane and i love it. After a few games the backboard spinner slowed down, then stopped entirely. At first i thought it was the motor dying but before i bought a new motor i decided to tighten down the little screws holding the disc onto the shaft of the motor. this fixed it great. it was spinning as fast as ever. but then after a few more games the same thing happened; it slowed down then stopped spinning entirely.

I'd like advice on what you'd do to fix this. I have a few ideas but i'm new to this and afraid of causing more damage. My ideas to fix it were to either use lock tite on the screws and shaft, or drill some divets into the shaft for the screws to dig into. I didn't take the whole thing apart for all i know there actually are screw holes in the shaft.

anyway i'd love to hear from anyone who had the same problem and fixed it or someone who knows a good way to fix it. thanks!

Yeah that looks like the screws all right. Where did you get those? I ordered the screws from the manual from Marco but I'm thinking the ones that grip in would be better.

i found some pointed grub screws from boltdepot and they fixed it right up. about 15 plays and no slippage at all. thanks everyone!
