I just bought these cabinet decals and was wondering if they are of good quality since I don't know much about decals.
ebay.com link: ROADSHOW screen printed cabinet decal set LAST SET

My second question is: Can I CC over these if I want to protect them from an eventual accidental scuff?
I'd like advice from guys that have experienced clear coating over cabinet decals.

    Thanks for the information.
    Claude.

Phoenix arcade is owned by Darin Jacobs. Darin has made some of the best decals for many years.

Now, can I Clearcoat over the decals without any problems?

I can't tell you that. I've never tried it. I know others have but I'm not sure what the process was.

I have never heard that anyone clearcoated over cabinet decals.
They are already good quality and don't wear fast.

I think on one of the recent Funhouse restore threads they cleared over the cabinet decals. It looked really good in the pics.

    Thanks for the input.
I think I'll do a test job with the decal left overs before doing the cabinet.

Question: What's the purpose of clearcoating over a decal?

If you're using for home use, it's not going to wear down. If you're worried about the flipper areas, then either put mylar over those two areas, or spot clearcoat (I guess).
