I am late to the party here, but I would've offered 1000. That pin needs a lot of love. You will have to source and purchase several high dollar parts, and either have the knowledge to fix it (which will chew up time) or pay someone handsomely to do it.

I would hold fast at 1200. I think that's the top of the mark for it. You may also want to reach back out to her in a week or two. It couldn't hurt.

You can't 'assume' this will be an easy fix. You have to bake in the costs of time and money.
The color dmd is 550. Mpu is 400. Rubber rings are 30. Flipper rebuild kit is 80. Add taxes on top and waiting time for parts. We are also assuming this will get it up and running and nothing else is needed...which it may need more.
It will need a full shop job and cleaning as well.

That's around 1200 in costs, and likely a few months of time to complete.

If you paid more than 1000, you would just be better off buying one running already.
