Look up the Fluke-101 on Amazon.
I just looked at it. I’d never seen it before. For $40 it auto ranges, AC, DC, continuity, diode check, resistance. Those are the biggies for pinball work. It looks quite compact.
I use Fluke 179 meters. I’ve gotten used to them and don’t like changing so I have three of them. Last one was a $140 eBay purchase but you have to be careful on eBay.
I also have a Fluke 117 which has the annoying feature of OFF not being the last rotary position which means I have to consciously move it to the specific off position rather than simply rotating it as far as it will go like the 179.
