I am brand new to the hobby and i am looking to buy complete set of pinball tools; is there anyone nice out there that can compile a list of what to buy ?

I would like to have a complete tool set for everything; if you have links or even recommendations where to buy even better!

    Magnetic screwdrivers and Nut Drivers
    Distributor/ignition wrenches

Pinwiki has a good list. Pinside threads about it are likely to contain links to buy stuff. Pinball Life, Marco Specialties, Pinball Resource are all trustworthy sources of pinball specific items.

    ...a complete tool set...

That's as impossible as completing a collection of pins.

Hmm. Don’t try to get complete tools for everything. That would be a crap ton of stuff. I recommend these, then gather more over time as needed.

    Magnetic nut driver set (imperial)
    Screwdrivers
    Pliers
    Allen wrench set
Socket wrench with 3/8” socket (leg bolts)
    Small-medium crescent wrench
    Digital level
    Microfiber cloths
    Novus 1
Novus 2 (only if cleaning something very dirty)
    Naphtha/wildcat (great rubber cleaner)
    Goo Gone
Glass cleaner (non-ammonia for anti-glare glass)
Carnauba paste wax (if you plan to wax)
Aforementioned switch adjuster tool - nice to have
Basic soldering iron + solder (Marcos has a good basic for $15)
    Wire stripper/cutter
Magnetic wand tool (for retrieving dropped metal parts or removing balls - priceless)
    Loctite threadlocker
    Multi-meter
Head lamp can be really helpful esp if you are an old fart

I think that would cover most situations.

what are distributor wrenches? I assume this isn't for a 1969 Camero engine.

Yes they are . They work great on pinball, slim profile

I usually hear them called ignition wrenches.
