Hi guys, I asked these in the NBAFB owners' club forum but it doesn't seem very active there and I haven't gotten any responses. So I thought I'd ask in the general tech forum too. For the most part my game seems to be playing fine, but I've got a few questions:

1. I'm not sure if my magnet is working - it doesn't ever appear to be grabbing the ball during the game. I've tried to run it in test and it doesn't look like it's doing anything there either. Any suggestions for how to verify, or what it is supposed to be doing?
2. Similar question about the basket opto - it appears to be registering and scoring shots just fine, but doesn't look like it works in test? Any reason why this would be happening? This is the way the game "reads" all shots to the basket, right?
3. While the left ramp diverter is up, there is a fairly loud continuous hum from the coil. Is this common on NBAFB, or is it something I need to investigate?
4. There's a couple of connectors under the playfield that aren't connected to anything (see photo) - what are they for? Something with the link kit maybe?

Thanks for any and all advice. As I said, the game is still totally playable, so none of this seems critical, but I'd feel better if I knew exactly how it's supposed to be working!

Thanks for the quick reply! The magnet is between the bottom of the basket and the center ramp, and between shooting spots 2 and 3. You can see it in the lower right of the picture here: http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=4023&picno=9501
