I am trying to link two NBA FBs. I know this is a long shot, but I am looking for a NOS Championship topper. Any leads would be much appreciated!

Quoted from alleycat-pinball:

I love them linked together. Always a hit when we have a party.

Looks fantastic! That's what I am going for.

Quoted from dudah:

For linking you need to add components that are unpopulated on the boards. Then it’s a simple serial data cable. A few others have done it if you search.

I was mostly looking for the topper and just threw in the linking kit part just to try and save some time. I am not great with boards, but I think I can find the 5 components at mouser.com. If anyone recommends someplace else, please let me know.

Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up on availability Puffdanny.

A few more questions:

I know some people have made their own serial connector. If I were to buy one, can anyone point me to a link?
Again, not knowing much about IC chips, does it matter who the manufacturer of the chip is? I would assume not but wanted to double check.

Thanks!
