I see no one seems to have the original replacement for this. Anyone know of a suitable replacement or something that works well? I feel like a ping-pong ball would be too light!

The major pinball parts companies sell them, Marco's/Pinball Life maybe and Planetary Pinball etc. There're 2 kinds, one is bright orange the other is more red. Probably $6 to $8 and shipping is about the same. I'd wait until you need something else and order them together since you are already paying for shipping if you go that route. My 2 cents...
