That’s cool it’s a Grand Prix. I’ve been curious how many of those are in the United States.

Good Luck with your restore.

Quoted from crlush:

anybody have any problems with carbon steel balls magnetizing? I had chrome in there and they were sticking to each other so I bought some carbon steel balls on ebay and only after 25 games 2 seem to be magnetized and seems to be the problem with the gremlins in my game, I looked in the trough when it happens and the balls look like they stick in the trough, if I bang on the cabinet they seem to lay flat then the game seems like it is working. Maybe the seller mixed up some chrome balls with my order?

Nope and unless I'm spacing out, I don't think the game has any magnets.

Quoted from scottslash:

Sorry, you are spacing out. Magnets are what make the balls race around the outside track.

Haha, yeah kind of forgot about the accelerators. I haven't had any problems with magnetized balls though.

The default high score table seems high as most people will never get to 100M on mine. What are average scores for everyone? The highest I’ve gotten on mine so far is 71M but I need to put in some more time.

Quoted from RatShack:

30-50M, highest is 368M. I turned down the extra ball setting after that one.
There are some stacks that are worth big points, like Victory Laps + Multiball.

Wow, that's about the same here for 30-50 average but 368 seems crazy good. I did 71M off mostly Multiball Jackpots but didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. I will have to read through all the rules again.

Quoted from RatShack:

Just worry about getting to Champion Challenge and it will fall into place. Hold the flipper button at the beginning of the game to see which modes will award a champ letter, then focus on completing those.
Scoring does not grow exponentially in this game so it takes a bit of strategy to get big points.

Thanks for the advice. I'll focus on Champ and see how that progresses.
