This is a question for people that bought the rpm gauge from hooked on pinball.
Its installed and seems to be working good when I hit the spinner. The problem I am having it pegs out when the center drop target goes down. Once it resets it goes back down. Is this normal or should I start replacing diodes? Or is this normal and I am just over thinking this.
Side note. In test menu when I drop the center target the right spinner doesn't trigger or vis versa.
Quoted from Clizifer:mine does the same thing. i think its just how it works, not sure if theres anyway to change it. i always thought it would be cool if it activated from both spinning targets, get the rpms really moving lol
Thanks. I won't dig to much into it then. Might be able to tap into the green wire and link the other spinner to it.
Quoted from Fifty:This is how it is meant to work. Not ideal, but there it is...
Yea that's what it's looking like,
Did some messing around with it last night. Moved to the other spinner but the left drop target is in that column so it still the same. Was going to try and tie the both spinners in but decided against it. Since both spinner are on different rows it might short out a transistor. But it could work if I used diodes to stop the current from running back. Not a 100% sure so i didnt try.
Quoted from KrazyIvan14:Anyone know where I could find a NASCAR decal set or specifically the following decals in a parted set (“NASCAR” Apron Decal, 2 Cars decals on the back truck rotating piece, and the grandstand on the back right above the play field?
I missed out on the one above.
Marcos. I got a set a few months back
Quoted from Fieldsweeper:I just got this machine from someone as a trade. The loop around the outside is a really cool feature. Although no death save possible hahah. I wish they did the same for the new hot wheels seems like a missed opp.
Anyway, It needs all new rubber but they are mostly OK and I just replaced the flipper rubber. and a few of the post rubbers that came with the starter bag. still was all stapled to the inside of the cab. No wear.
Anything I should look for? seems to play fine. I may LED this game. but for now seems OK.
any mods? or cool things I can do with this?
A cool rpm gauge. Made by hooked on pinball
Quoted from Fieldsweeper:best place to find replacement parts for this? Or an LED kit?
Its a mod.
