Not my game, so I doubt the owner would switch. I will mention to them . Thank you

I am finding that when the LEFT pit road release post drops to feed the ball to the track - it is often hitting the ball guide and dropping to the RIGHT thru the Scanner lane. Kind of spoils the start of Multiball.

The table is level - I have checked and checked again. Pitch is ok - bubble between the lines. I loosened the ball guide and tried to push it over a fraction - wasn't much give in it to be honest.

Anyone else had this ? Any ideas.

Quoted from Pahuffman:

Thanks! Glad to be here.
On a second note, I never want to see another lane guide ever again. Lawlor was trying to kill us when he designed this thing.

save your pics, I bought one in many pieces.... might need some references on putting it back together!

No problem! I have all of them saved. Let me know if you need me to dump them on imgur or something for you.

Has anybody swapped out the T-molding for black? I find the reflective chrome to be distracting.

Okay so since nobody answered I took this into my own hands. Took about 5 minutes to swap out the T-molding and WOW does it make a difference. The game looks classier and the backglass actually looks better due to more perceived contrast - the same reason you put a black border around a theater screen.

Very happy with this decision.

Much better!!

I never understood why silver was chosen. Maybe it looks better on the Dale Jr. or Grand Prix versions with silver???

If anything Dale Jr. might have looked good with red, but silver mirror? Whose idea was that? Looks like aluminum foil. Grand Prix maybe, but still no.

Mr_Tantrum helped me transform my Nascar into more of a Brickyard 400 with a 3D printed Gasoline Alley with lit sign, a pagoda, the race standings "pylon" tower, and a sign for the Snake Pit--the infield party area! I had him reduce the size of the hauler plastic replacement by 2.75" so I'll have to find something to fill that small area on the back of the playfield board. I may change the placement of the non-hauler replacement items, but I'm really happy with how this all looks.

How I need a Nascar pin to go along with this. Just picked it up a couple of weeks ago.

Anybody else get annoyed when the callout "I'd rather be lucky than good" gets cut off early? Bothers me every single time and now I can't unhear it..

I can't say I remember it. I'll have to listen for it...

It happens when your multiball start is lit but you don't make it all the way up the ramp to hit the opto at the spinning car. When the ball hits the switch behind the two other locked balls it says, "I'd rather be lucky than goo-GENTLEMEN, START YOooooUR ENGINES!"

Any leads on this item.? 530-5686-00 plunger latch used in Nascar.

Broke down and bought the last one from Austrailia Spare pinball parts.
I am looking into having some made.

Mine is starting to eject 2 balls at start of ball 1. Looks like the 'new' trough board isn't as good as the original.
I swapped them out when I jad to do it to my other stern.
And damn if soft coil pulse isn't fixing it either.
Funny it always runs the trough test just fine.

#917 5 days ago

check to see if the balls are hanging up in the trough , ie not rolling along as a ball is ejected up to the plunger lane

Nice. I can put that chunck of parrafin wax to good use.
It's for more that just wooden playfield cab guides.
