Hello my nascar garage kick out coil locked on and burnt up so I replaced the coil q6 and fired it up and it locked on as soon as I powered up again. Then I changed the q6 driver with some change. Now when I fire it up the VUK for the trough locks on which is q8 and q6 still locks up. Theses drivers are side by side on the board The driver board looks spotless. Not sure where to go or check next. Any help would be appreciated

Groover88 have a look at the Pinwiki: https://www.pinwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Sega/Stern_White_Star_Repair#Solenoid_problems

Note section 4.4.3 about replacement transistors.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the response YeOldPinPlayer I just ckd out your reference. I’m starting to think its u1 I checked for continuity from the transistors tab to ground on all the transistors that are driven off of u1 and I’m getting varying reading but def have continuity from the tab of the trans to ground. Would u1 being bad cause the transistors to read that way?
