The A string of coils on the brown wire is dead in my Whirlwind on location (outkicker et al). Fuses are all fine, tested out of game (well F2A is fine, F4 is blowing but I’m not sure how that’s related, and it doesn’t blow during testing so I’m fine there).

-I have continuity through the brown wire to every coil from F2A
-I can’t manually fire these coils by grounding the transistors, that has no effect
-Getting scrambled garbage voltage readings at F2A and the start of the brown wire, it should be 25vdc but not sure if probing here is problematic?
-Flashers on that fuse/C side are fine.

Is this an A/C relay issue? Bridge? Or not the Auxiliary Power Board at all?

Thanks!

Did you verify 25 V at every solenoid?

sounds like a bad fuse. You verified continuity from the fuse to the solenoid, but did you verify continuity across the fuse itself.

IS there 25 V on one side of the fuse but not the other?

do you have a spare fuse to put in?

I replaced the fuse, but yeah, have continuity across it too. Voltage is unreadable at the fuse. I gotta check the coils.

Voltage at coils is same as at fuse, no legible reading, just noise at mv levels. So no voltage I’m guessing.

Basically in the A position, there’s no 25v after the relay. Bad contacts? I hear you can pop these things open and fix em sometimes?

Popped in a working aux driver board and it fixed the issue. So: Relay or BR maybe?

It was the relay.
