I assume this board would also work with Lost in Space ?

Quoted from Evilive69:

I'm pretty sure the magnet board was only used in Twister and GoldenEye. The disk and magnet in Lost In Space is controlled by the driver board.

Yes after Applejuice mentioned that I went & looked these games up , I had always just assumed that Twister & Lost in space came out around the same time but No Twister release date was April 1996 & Goldeneye one month previously in March but Lost in space release was May 1998 a good 2 years later so they must have engineered a better way to control it via the driver board instead of this somewhat problematic seperate board

Quoted from applejuice:

I dont think they engineered a better way. This boards design is the ultimate in detection in my view. I think they just made the games cheaper and simpler using timing.

Right on & I acknowledge you are far more knowledgeable than myself here , so I retract that "better" comment but I did own one of these & even bought a replacement board from Marco but always still had glitches with the spinning magnet mech. & thus was one of the contributing reasons as to why I let her go
... edit there was a service bulletin for the orig. board as well
