One more question. How is switch 22 handled? For bad girls this is special awards EB or special. I want that set to special. Am I covered since I have the game on Novelty mode via switch 28?
I don’t want the game to award any EBs.

Switch 22 is always the 'playfield special' setting for all 80b games. Not populated means special, so that is what you have as std configuration and how the std boards shipped.
