Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:

I just removed a piece of Mylar from my Twilight Zone using Freeze Spray and Rubbing alcohol. It was by far the easiest way I have ever done it. I filmed the process and result for random future internet strangers. Do this at your own risk and note I was not doing this over inserts. Good luck!

Nicely done!

I watched a restorer removing mylar off my TZ PF - yes I held my breath but he made it look so easy. Not sure if I'd be up for trying this myself, I'd be too afraid of stuffing up a good PF. I have a Firepower that has inserts coming up under the mylar, but given it's age I feel that there's a good chance the mylar will lift the artwork
