Use ronsonsol lighter fluid it works better than goo gone. Put paper towel over the glue and soak it with lighter fluid let sit for 10 minutes and it comes off with just rubbing. I re soak half way through the first step to make sure it does not get too dry. This stuff works great and will not harm the playfield.

The last one I did was my waterworld with it and had all the glue off in less than a hour it was awesome. Goo gone just takes too long in my opinion.
