    Quoted from dpadam450:

I have done some research and people said generally they don't like it but I'm just curious what the lifespan of mylar sheets are that people have used. I've ordered some sheets to test out but I'm curious what the main issues with it are. Does it just get worn out over time with scratches or just gets grimey/cloudy over time? Does it wear out faster than the normal hard coat under it?

It's only useful for older games with poor clear or high wear areas on modern games. Even then, when it gets old and has to be removed, it can destroy art on older games. I only use small amounts on newer pins.
