Vid1900 - thanks! You inadvertantly helped me make a decision about taking off my mylar and what to do with my touched-up playfield afterwards! I'm taking off the mylar and replacing with a full sheet from Marco......!!!

Yes, you can polish it, just use a headlight polisher or something like that.
