Would you happen to have the schematics for those boards?
I have an Upper Deck and I'm doubtful that the sound works.
If I can't get the boards to work, my plan is to get a .wav file player and connect it to whatever signal drives the OEM sound boards. There are details, but it should be possible.
It's been a while since I hatched this plan. I did a quick search on eBay and found this. Looks like it might do the trick.
