So i was surfing the interweb the other day and came across these dudes who make cardboard pinball. Pinbox 3000 i think their product is called. Its cool and i was totally into getting one for craft time with my daughter but then i saw the price. 50 bucks! For cardboard! So i said to hell with that. i can make something like that. On friday i got to work. Made the flipper assembly and plunger assembly. Then got the cabinet together. That was kind of a chore but it came along. The playfield assembly was a tight fit into the cab. I had to fenaggle it in place trying to fit the drain tray and buttons through the holes in the cab. Then the fun part. I spent a few hours playing with layout ideas before i made one i liked. First thing first i had to get some background art around the inside of the cab. This game was going to be punisher themed. Hes a badass and my favorite character. And honestly the world needs a punisher pin! So i made a layout with some of my favorite elements of pinball. Ramps, captive ball, spinner, bash toy, orbit. This game has no electronics so no drops or pops sadly. Oh well. The game turned out great though. The layout is fun! That king pin shot is a dangerous center drain risk though!
