    You have a choices.

You can put the car in the garage under a cover and uncover it once a week, sip a beer and stare at your beauty then cover it back up and drag it out the following week for another sip-beer-stare-at session.

Or you can drive it and enjoy it and learn to live with rock chips, door dings, dog scratches, etc.

Blaming the dog is not an option.

Your problem clearly falls under the "shit happens" section of life.

    Quoted from Oneangrymo:

The dog came up, rested its paws on my drivers side door then left. Then I got scratches! Pissed me off!

One other thing: Since it is your uncle's dog I assume ( and I really hate to assume) that you drove into/onto your uncle's driveway. It that is the case, then you have entered the dog's territory and he is checking you out.

This post just goes to show that if you want your posts to get some action all you have to do is mention something about a dog.

    Quoted from rotordave:

Seriously - that’s how half the people on Pinside treat their pinball machines ...
“Don’t play it! You might mark up the playfield!”

OK. Now I'm starting to get it. Perhaps it is no wonder why lots of guys talk about how their wives don't like their pinball machines. Maybe the right play field is not getting marked up enough

    Quoted from jorro:

god works in misteriouss ways, maybe by not driving it to somewhere cause of the scratch your live is saved by your uncle's
    dog!!!!????

Oh, so now we are going to blame it on god/God? "I was going to go do something but I guess God had other plans."

We sort of always have to have a canned answer for when we don't have an answer for what ails us.

I just went and down voted this SOB. We are being toyed with. I feel like an idiot. Yeah, yeah, I know I am an idiot but now I feel like one.

Go give this sucker a down vote.
